I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of manufacturer samples of casino chips in The Chip Rack new edition. I didn't really think this would be feasible due to the large number out there. However, since that's one of my collecting specialities I'd be glad to see this area made as complete as possible.
I've scanned my collection to take with me to the convention next week. If anyone, including the TCR authors would like to look at the samples I have, you're welcome to look at the files on my web disk. The URL is:

through
http://home.comcast.net/~scan4/File0153.jpg
The files are high quality JPG and scanned oversize so you have to scroll to see them on a browser. There are about 50 pages with varying numbers of chips on each, grouped by manufacturer. A page of the Reliable brass-core samples is shown below. Each page is from 1/4 to 1/2 MBy so don't try this with a dialup connection [g].
I know GeneT also has a large collection and maybe he would agree to put up some of his scans for samples I don't show.
If you decide to use these, Allan, let me know if you need further info on colors, reverse images, etc. I'll leave them on the WWW for a couple of months at least.
