.. they were sold as souvenirs, but with a production of 5,000 surely they would be pricey to begin with. After all these are not cheap 'knock-offs' they went through the same process as legit note (except the legal part). I never figured out why production was only 5,000. They could EASILY have moved 5x that or more. Plus to a numismatist the value on a fantasy note can only go so high (I would think).
