Today's note was spurred by Jim Litnar's post about his pond and the koi in it. Like fantasy chips there are 'fantasy' notes as well and this is a One Carp, Bulgarian 'fantasy note'.

Its called "one carp" and was issued by the Union of Bulgaria Hunters & Anglers and the company Nicecovers Co. to celebrate the 7th European Championship for freshwater fishing in Bulgaria in June 2001.

The "carp" was printed on "Fabriano" security paper and has most of the common security features including fluorescent fibers, UV ink, watermark, hologram, serial numbers. plus micro printing on the back. It is limited to 5,000 notes. Enjoy
