I have never been to the place but when you drive by it sure looks closed. I think they closed down not too long after they opened - it was a real shoestring operation - like I said they were using a large tent for the building, the parking lot was not paved and their advertising consisted of a big sign on a truck parked down by the freeway. I'll have to take a picture next time I go up that way. This all occurred before the Nevada gaming people got involved in Indian gaming. I suspect they are now talking to the big boys - the ones with the deep pockets that can front the money for an off ramp and other mitigations to get them up and running. They have a great location - low enough elevation that they do not get snow but high enough to be a bit cooler than the valley - right on a major freeway.
