Today's selection makes me think of a childhood cartoon I used to watch called Secret Squirrel & Morocco Mole (shown below). The note comes from the North African country of Morocco. Being a strategic gateway to Spain and Western Europe has caused Morocco to have violent past. The note is a 1944 issued 100 Franc depicting the gate in a city wall. The note is very colorful with intricate design work. E.A. Wright Banknote Company of Philadelphia printed it. Enjoy!
