We are 45 miles down the coast, but as I've noted before, the Bahamas Florida Express runs
their catamaran ("The Cat" at 45 MPH)from Port
Everglades to Freeport. Cab fare from Freeport to
Lucaya is about $25. one way, so if you get a "package" including a hotel - be sure there is
