I agree this thread has gotten long, and I'm at least partially to blame for this. However, I would point out that generally Vic's threads do not get this long. I see him post rather regularly, and often they go without comment.

This time it didn't go without comment, and in a big way. I think it's useful not only in warning other people, but it shows Vic that it's not just two people on this board that have a beef with him. He's managed to alienate the core of the hobby.
