This post is a repeat of my post of earlier today that seems to be buried at the end of a veeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy long post about ethics and goodwill amongst collectors. My apology to those who have already been exposed to my ranting .

"IF THE WEBMASTER would take a stand and CUT OFF these 50-60-70-80 NONSENSE AND IRRITATING AND LUDICROUS, NOT-GOOD-FOR-THE-HOBBY message threads, maybe we can get back to enjoying the HOBBY! When it gets as bad as recent postings it's not a free speech issue, it's just plain B.S. that should be eradicated! When the discussion turns from the sublime to the ridiculous, it should be terminated. Allowing "Point-Counter Point" ad infinitum on a board such as this is not healthy for the hobby.

I say to the offended people: "I heard you, I have formed an opinion, and I have made a decision on with whom I will and will not deal." To the alleged offender I say: "You are one with whom I will never have any dealings." I came to these conclusions VERY EARLY IN THE THREAD. I know I am not the only person reading this board who has come to those conclusions. How many newcomers have been scared off by these types of posts?! Let's move on, PLEASE!

Invocation of "Free Speech" defense CAN only be carried so far! Free speech advocates can hammer me if they want, but even they must admit that these types of threads are BAD for the hobby. Got a beef, take it to the Club Claims Director. Dealing with a non-member, take it to court!"
