You charged $16.65 to ship nine chips in a single envelope with $1.29 postage on it. It's anyone's guess how much you choose to gouge your trading partners on postage. Why would anyone charge $16.65 postage when the actual postage was more than fifteen bucks less? You also offered to insure the package for thirteen bucks, which was just about equal to the value of the chips won at auction. That's just plain stupid. Having an option to decline that attractive offer, I took that option.
