The chip in your post is indeed from the Sahara Reno. It never hit the tables. John Chamberlain from Carson City found these chips. As John put it there was tens of thousands of them.

John posted about them here on the board.
He sold quite a few, then sold the remainder to Mike Spinetti.

John sold them so inexpensively, that even I bought two boxes.

I hope you didn't pay to much for it.
