Now do I have to undergo some intitiation? LOL.
Yes, send everyone with a number lower than yours one chip. Everyone, send Scott your address!
Or do ya'll send me flowers or something? Hmmm?
Hmmm?
Seriously, where is the best link to keep up with new releases.
Right here.
And where is the best place to see newly approved chips?
Again, right here. However, there is a link to Nevada Gaming that lists their monthly approvals. However, just because there is an approval, it does not mean that there will be a release.
And finally, when I see chips referenced by a number, is that a number given to the chip by TCR? Are there more than one set of reference numbers (like 2 systems) or just the one?
TCR numbers are five digits; one alpha character followed by four numerals. The alpha characters are N, V and I think E. But yes, there are other numbering systems. The two most prevalent are Black's numbers, which are used for Atlantic City chips and then there is Greg Susong's numbers used for indian and riverboat casinos and seen on thechipguide.com. This message board is Greg's. Be sure to click on thechipguide link. There are other numbering systems as well.
Thanks.
