We stopped the Poker Palace on Saturday the 15th, which is down the road from the Tribal Smoke Shop. They don't sell chips from their cage, but will sell them from the tables. The pit boss was extremely nice. A number of locals were there at the time and no one bothered us in any way. I would never venture out there at night but have to say that I've seen scarier characters in Caesar's Palace and on the Strip...
