I don't ever look to see who is bidding. I just bid the maximum I am willing to pay and if I win then great! If I don't win, "oh well", someone else wanted it worse than I did and there probably be another one that comes along sooner or later, probably sooner!

Another thing, I don't bid until the final seconds of the auction (yes, I am a sniper). If someone else is sniping too, I'll never know it until the auction is over.
