It's 81.9 pence per litre here (and predicted to hit over £1.00 per litre this year!) which (based on 4.5 litres per gallon - can't find a conversion chart anywhere, so I'm guessing) and an exchange rate of 1.75, that makes $6.45 per gallon.
I'm sure glad my wife has a company car!
