The Lucky Derby Card room in Sacramento recently order a set of tournament chips from the Blue Chip company. They wanted cheap chips and got what they ordered--a set of plastic chips that are unstackable. They just slide off one another meaning that they cannot be stacked very easily--maybe two or three high. I believe they paid $0.31¢ each for them. All the players and even the owners of the club are dissatisfied with the chips and are thinking of reordering a differrent set. Also only 19 fit in a plastic rack.

They may make other quality chips, and if they do, those are the ones I would buy.
