Anybody know anything about the new Bose wave radio/cd players that are out? There are two versions in terms of size and quality (one for about $500, one for about $1000). Wondering if anyone knows much about them or has a recommendation between the two.

A while back there was a comment on the board about someone in the club who knows virtually everything about acoustics. Can't remember who and can't find the thread. Help if you can with a post.
