I'm not privy to messages sent to the BOD, but given Larry's statement in the parent note of this thread---"THE CLUB Will NOT LET ME BACK IN SO ( it's been 5 years) RATHER THAN BE A OUTCAST HAVE DECIDED TO SELL ALL MY CHIPS.", I'd think that he has made attempts to receive some level of resolution that didn't include a life-time ban.

I could be completely wrong. I'm just posting my thoughts as an outside observer.
