Debby Meister posted this one not too long ago, a real mystery chip. It's a new or near-new small crown with a very narrow gold hotstamp letter "V". Then silver paint was spattered on it for cosmic effect and a comet was carefully applied...appears to be by a rubber stamp coated with paint. I got mine from an eBay seller who probably isn't a chipper. It came with an odd company of companions that included an owl on a branch chip, an unloved Ta-Neva-Ho buck and a very nice $1 Crystal Bay Club in matching zigzag. Go figure. Seller claims chips came from something termed the "legendary Ellis Prophouse auction". Also has been selling some other interesting combos of chips, for instance, 4 Peruvian chips in Ewing mold! Thought I could run this by the PNW chippers tomorrow but work has me, well, working instead. I love mystery chips and this is a pretty good one, any ideas?
