Right now West Virginia has "slots only" casinos at the dog and horse tracks in West Virginia. All four tracks have gone through major expansions in the last couple of years in preperation for table games. Rumor has it that the table games will begin in 2005 after the elections. All it takes in West Virginia is Legislative approval, gaming does not have to be put on the ballot. I have talked to a State Legislator and he has told me it is a "done deal." So it apprears that West Virginia will soon have full fledged gaming soon.
