Sammy owns a cantina in Cabo San Lucas called Cabo Wabo. Hence, the name Cabo Wabo. Subsequently, the rock group Sammy was/is in, called Van Halen, did a song called Cabo Wabo. Great Song.

This weekend he opened a new cantina/night club in Tahoe called Tahoe Wabo. So, the chips were released for the Grand Opening of his place. Luckily Warwick Stone couldn't screw up this chip release like he did the Hard Rock.

BTW, after the shows in Tahoe this weekend he and his band are flying to AC where they will be playing at the Borgata Casino.

"SAMMY HAGAR AND THE WABORITAS TO ROCK AT FIRST ANNUAL "CINCO DE CABO" EVENT AT BORGATA" - with a 3 hour tequila tailgate party before the concert, it should be 1 crazy night. I've read where fans might be coming from as far as Michigan to see the concert.
