It turns out that I hadn't finished registering my account at E-bay. I had to call them because the "help" icon kept asking for the same thing, which didn't work. When I got someone on the phone, he told me that I needed to re-apply my e-mail address which, I guess, I had to plug in twice. Thanks for the phone number, Ralph. It saved the day.
