Had to be in Buffalo Friday night for a dinner in honor of a former research assistant, now a judge; invited to go to the Seneca Niagara Falls after the dinner but being 70 turned it down; next morning I drove up, sober (whereas the judge didn't get back until 5:30 a.m.); what I saw astounded me in comparison with the Syracuse area Turning Stone Resort--a real casino with real slots and real video poker not just the Class II electronic pull tabs that TS has--and it is huge. The people were nice (they should be since I left my money with them). I understand they will be opening a poker room in the future. So if you are in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area stop by. Even the valet parking is free (one block from where a private entrepaneur asks $6!.
