Seems like the first issues were made at the order of the casino but never put on the tables. The "reorders" were Paulson store specials, probably manufactured after the Horseshoe closed. In my opinion, they shouldn't even be included in Armin's book... I don't think he includes any other of these "imitation" chips. They are nice chips, though, and definitely collectable.
I think you should put your $500 up on eBay. The way things are going, a "unique" chip like that should go for at least $25,000. I mean, there are 5 or 6 of those darn Sands arodies known.
