When in Vegas last week I decided I would like to try the poker rooms for the first time. I started out at the Palms where I got a great lesson in 3/6 hold'em, from Sandi.
Next two days I played at the Mirage. I was staying at the Venetian and sure would have liked to play there, so I asked a staff member it there was a poker room available.
Here is what he said.." Sir, this is the Venetian, we don't do buffet's and we don't do poker".
So much for that! My question then would be this; What casino's offer poker? Or is it easier
to ask which casino's do not have a poker room?
Are there casino poker rooms to avoid? I found the Palms poker rooms was terrific except for the fact that there was remodeling going on and the noise was very distracting, and very very disturbing.
The Mirage was cool, but how about other choices?
I did stop over at Bellagio for dinner and craps, and noticed that they moved their poker room out into the open casino. Don't know it that is permanent or temporary.
So a list of the poker rooms avbailable and a rating of each might be nice. Any help on this ?
