A check for $1,500 will be presented to the family early next week. The fund will stay open for contributions thru the next club magazine mailing. Space has been reserved in it for this notice. Steve had many friends that are not on line. The space for the notice was paid for from private funds and not taken out of contributions.

We all deeply regret the passing of our dear friend and fellow chipper Steve. He was a treasure to all who knew him; truly a man with a heart of gold. His untimely passing has left behind a wife and three daughters, whose lives have been irrevocably altered by this tragic event. It is with the Zacchi family in mind that we established the “Steve Zacchi Memorial Fund.” We are asking all our fellow chippers to make a donation in any amount they can afford to help the family through these troubled times.
