Jim...Clue is a system where insurance companies share informatiom on prior claims. When you apply for a policy the agent will know your claim history as well as the claim history of the property. The flaw is if the prior property owners company did not participate in the clue system. Insurance compaines use this system, and many other factors today to rate a risk. This is like a credit report...when wrong information is in the system, the burden of proof is on the customer to prove it is wrong. You can easily do this by getting a letter from your prior carrier.
