The problem is, Vic's reputation for dishonesty leaves open not only the possibility that he made up the sockpuppet account, but he's now got his hand straight up the sockpuppet's - er, backside, and it's him that is doing the responding. On the other hand, if indeed you do exist, you picked the wrong horse to back. Vic's not exactly known for his stellar business integrity.
