This auction - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63754&item=3286932623&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW - has a couple of chips that might or might not be from Lake Tahoe. Neither is listed in TCR.
In addition to the casino at Sky Harbor (not far from where the Lakeside Inn is today on Tahoe's south shore), there was an airfield nearby. And Sky Haven, if my research is correct, was the name of the the North Las Vegas airfield in the '40s.
With the similarities in the mold, the hot stamp and the name, it seems likely these chips are connected somehow.
Does anyone have a good guess as to their origin? Thanks in advance.
