A lot has to do with what you drive and where you live.
Are there any other drivers on the policy? How old is the vehicle? How old are you? What type of coverage do you want? What about collisiuon, comprehensive and deductable?
Driving record plays a big part but so do minor things like is the vehicle garaged, Is it a vehicle that falls into a group that is listed among those most likely to be stolen, How about does an alarm? Etc. Etc.
Remember a quote is only a qoute. It ain't official until an underwriter approves it. I've been low balled a few times myself.
Oh... Another factor, If you have an umbrella policy i.e personal, homeowners etc,. and the company writes auto, you will probably save some money going with them.
