It's a great book...HOWEVER, there are alot of chips missing from the priceguide. I got the book when it was first released, just before the convention last year. I was informed by the author that the priceguide wasn't complete, but the author was working on addendum pages, which would include most of the missing chips. The addendum was supposed to be coming out "very shortly" John (The author), informed me I would be notified by email just as soon as the addendum was done.

Since then, I hadn't heard a thing about it. I emailed the author just two weeks ago and inquired abouit the addendum, since all of this time had passed and I hadn't recieved anything. John informed me that he hadn't sold as many of the priceguides as he had expected, and that "since the priceguide at this time was still a losing proposition", he was not going to produce the addendum pages. I have to admit, although he was very polite, he was quite matter of fact on this.

I have a couple contentions with the priceguide.

1) as stated above, the first buyers of the priceguide were promised addendum pages which would include the missing chips. To me, it shouldn't matter that the author hasn't gotten all of his money back from the project yet. If you tell your costomers you're going to deliver something, then you should be honor bound to follow through.

2) Not only is the priceguide missing many wet chips, the book also does not include any wet chips that are included in Greg Susong's Riverboat Chipguide. I'm not really sure on the locic of this, but personally, I feel all of those chips should have been included. It's really saying this priceguide includes all cruise ships, unless the chip is listed in another priceguide. To me, a wet chip priceguide should include all of the wet chips, wheather they are listed elsewhere or not. But maybe thats just me.
