I didn't realize that part of the reason I missed some of these Wisconsin casinos in their early years was that we sold the family cottage before they were opened.
My "last trip" back from Three Lakes / Eagle River(which was one of a few last trips) Mole Lake still had the two casinos operating. Northern Lights hadn't opened yet. Menominee Casino, didn't exist. North Star hadn't opened, closed and re-opened.
Oneida Green bay, which could have been on the route, was First American Games, opened about year later.
They did have bingo at most of them, just no casinos.
At about the same time, I was visitng Las Vegas a few times a year and saw the Marina becoming MGM Grand, stayed at the Excalibur and saw them put the windows on the Luxor between my Oct and Nov. visits. (I think that was 92?)
