Yes, the highways actually have shoulders now.
The Regency, Mole Lake is just like it was, but boarded up. I had heard they tore it down, so seeing the building was a surprise.
The addition at Grand Royale (now plain Mole Lake) doubled the size of the casino, but they still have the slots so close together that you can hardly walk between the people playing.
If you moved South before the new Majestic Pines, I took a picture back when they re-opened. Rainbow doesn't look like it changed, but I may have missed the original casino?
Ho Chunk had the big circus tent in back, and I haven't been there is years.
But then, look at all the new buildings in Las Vegas over the same period, and the nice weather.
It snowed last weekend, enough to stick on the cars and trees. It really did snow on the 4th of July in the same region as Mole Lake, Carter and across the top of the state, when I was a kid.
What would be interesting to find would be pictures of the old original shacks, ah, I mean casinos, from the late 80's and early 90's.
10th Aniversary for a few of the casinos was 2001 or 2002.
