Take it back and get a Hewlett Packard professional scanner, John. Not much more dollars but don't have most of the color problems that the $89 scanners do.

Having said that, I'll still admit that they have a problem with fluorescent chip colors. I'd like to find a brand that does this well and I might consider changing suppliers.
