Not long ago the Attorney General of our fair state [The Empire State, from which many flee to south or west like Ralph Meyers] made clear that interenet gambling waw a serious crime and that his minions would chase the devils down and prosecute the players--he hasn't done that as yet but that's not the reason for the post. I was watching the Yankees throw away a game to the Whie Sox the other day when on the tube came an ad for PartyPoker.com It seems to me that there is an inconsistency here but since I'm only a lawyer I may not fully understand the situation. If it is a crime to gamble on line then the efforts to induce others to gamble would also be a crime.
