We have been to the Western a number of times over the years and have never had any kind of problem in that area. Have seen many "interesting" looking characters, BUT NO ONE has ever bothered us. We also found the Western employees to be quite friendly. A few years back, when we went looking for some decent hot stamped $1 chips, by then most were worn beyond recognition, several employees took the time to go through every rack of chips they had looking for some good ones.
