Ed, the dictionary defines "incused" as "hammered, stamped or pressed in - as a design feature on a coin" (for our purposes, a chip).

In the scan below, the DieSuits design is printed on the mold of the left chip... the DieCard design is incused into the mold of the right chip. Hope this helps.
