Dick.... I heard the same thing you heard that the Mohegan Sun's official position was that the Connecticut market could not handle having two poker rooms in one market. But I also heard some very serious rumors from posts that have been circulating around on the various poker boards including on the Usenet and conversations I had with poker room dealers at both the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods some blame Peter Lau who at the time was the manager of the Mohegan Sun's Poker Room for his piss poor management skills, I also heard rumors that some of the Poker Room dealers got caught skimming chips from the box and that allegedly there was drug dealing and prostitution being conducted on the premises, Again I stress that all of this is alledged and not fact as far as I know. The answer Mohegan Sun came up with was to fire the troublemakers including Peter Lau and reassign as many poker room employees to other positions within the casino and those they couldn't reassign due to lack of job availability were laid off and some ended up going to Foxwoods.
