Pop, as clearly as I can recall the explanation at the time, the Mohegan Sun Poker Room basically closed for two reasons... 1) inability to compete with Foxwoods Poker Room just a few miles away... 2) higher income per square foot by replacing poker with additional slot machines... rather curious decision in light of the explosion of poker popularity during the last 12 months or so...
