I am not a roulette player, other than dropping a $25 chip on red or black as I pass the table for a one time bet win/lose. My wife was with me at Bally's and I had broken away from the craps table for a breather, I had a stack of $25's as we passed the roulette table, I stopped and asked her,"What color will the next number be, red or black?" Without hesitation she said, "RED!" I put $25 on red, it hit and I started to walk, she insisted I do it again. "OK" I said, "What color this time?" Again she said,"RED!" I let it up on red and again, red hit. We hit red six times in a row. By the seventh time I was up to $800 from my original $25. To me the wheel was SCREAMING Black!! My wife said, "I think it'll be red." I let it ride... JUST before the dealer waved off any more beys, I slid the stack to BLACK. The ball hit Black.... and bounced into RED. I felt pretty stupid as my $800 was sliding away! Moral of the story 'Quit when you're ahead!'
