Although heavily cancelled, take a look at the two chips in the scan below. While they appear the same at first glance, look at the location on the bottom hot stamp. You can see one says DAVIS DAM, NEV and the other LAUGHLIN, NEV. I've always thought there had to be another $5 Riverside chip between the Davis Dam chip and the one with the center inlay. With the style of these two chips the same, it appears the Laughlin stamped chip came directly after the Davis Dam chip. Any thoughts?
