look we are now going through these 9/11 deliberations and the big question is why didn't we do something drastic to prevent 9/11 well since then, our policy has been to stay on the offense to prevent any attacks against us Iraq has always been talked about as a possible threat to our country even clinton has admitted to that We had information that hussein had wmds we had a lot of it and previous administrations also believed that we took it to the un and asked them to back up the resolution with force because hussein was basically sending the un on a wild goose chase allowing them to see some areas while others were forbidden. I think we lost focus on all the hearings that took place prior to going to war with iraq and France and Germany had much to lose as we see now with the oil for food program and god knows what else
