When I first moved here in 1993 it was already Indio Bingo Palace. Obviously, there was a huge bingo hall, but they had poker and the California version of Blackjack (22) at that time. The legal battle pre-dated that time. I know one of the people that was involved in the raids and went to jail back then but I'm not able to contact him at this time. I'll try to dig up some more information from some of the people that I currently work with who might have some further insight. I'll keep you posted.
