I was born in Windham Connecticut and raised in Chaplin Connecticut. My Father was director of orientation at Uconn for over 25 years. His "other" job was director of ushering for all the Connecticut Athletic games using his orientation staff as his ushers. Game night was always Moms night to do her thing as I went with Dad to all the games. When I was old enough, 13 or so, he let me work the games. I always had the student section. :-) I was at every home game starting when I was about 3 years old from the old field house, Hartford Civic Center, to the "new" Gampel and all the Big East Tourneys at Madison Square Garden till his last years at Uconn in 1991. I landed in the Memphis area where I'm still a die hard HUSKY. I WISH I was there!!! Congrats to both teams!
