The really nice clay chips sell new for $.65 to $1.00. The better the chip, the closer to $1.00 you'll pay. If you check the sales prices for good chips on eBay you'll see some ridiculous prices being paid. That said, I recently sold 525 chips from the Dutch Inn in San Juan, PR for $1050. They were Bud Jones (coin in center) and in great condition. Nevada Jacks has good chips, with nice weighting and feel, but they want $1.00 each. Chipco sells ready made chips from their website for $.70 each and they're nice, (ceramic) and are same quality I think as casinos purchase. In my opinion, it will be hard to get 1500 chips of good quality for less than $1000. Others may have a different opinion, and I'd be interested in knowing where to get really good chips, in that quantity, for under $.70 each.
