I went to Downtown Las Vegas last night in the search of new chips, roulettes and slotcards. Plaza, Las Vegas Club and the Horseshoe are still using the same old slotcards.
No new roulettes either. The Horseshoe had one 50 cent roulette table at the west entrance and only four colors. Three were what appeared to be a new chip. It was a hot stamp suits. They looked sharp but some were worn, so IM not sure if they were pulled from someplace and reused. The fourth color was the BJ chips they already had.

Now for buying chips at the cage. I tried many times with no luck. A few times at the Las vegas Club and the Plaza I pushed twelve dollars towards the cashier and asked for ten one dollar chips. I think it was more a company policy than a gaming one.
