Pick 20 poker players who will be your horses in the contest. You can use the Poker Pages Web site link below as a guide if you need to.
Each time one of your players makes the final three in one of the World Series of Poker tournaments you will receive points based on his or her finish.
Point System: If they finish 1st you get 4 points, 2nd you get 3 points & 3rd 2 points. If one of your players gets to the final table but does not finish in the top three you get 1 point.
Events: All World Series of Poker events will count towards the total with these exceptions:
Event #1 Casino Employee's Event
Event #20 Ladies Limit Hold'em
Media Charity Event
The first event for this contest will be event #2 No Limit Hold'em on Friday, April 23rd with the last event ending on May 28th.
The final $10,000 buy in World Series of Poker Championship event will be worth DOUBLE points.
Everyone will be putting up THREE current $5 Casino chips in nice condition & we'll have three winners.
1st - 50% of the total chips
2nd - 30% of the total chips
3rd - 20% of the total chips
If there is a tie, then the entry that picked the most first place winners will be the contest winner. Or second place finishers if nobody had any first place winners. And then whoever had the most third place finishers if nobody has any first or second place picks.
Updated standings will be posted here after every couple of tournaments. You can also check out the results & tournament reports by going to the link below.
If you want to play I'll need your first & last name in your post. No initials for the last name & you must be a member & include your number in your post.
I will only accept entries posted here in THIS thread. Any entries E-Mailed to me will not count. ONE entry per person. The winners will be posted here on May 28th. I will let you know who to mail your chips to at that time.
The contest closes at 6 P.M. Pacific time on Tuesday, April 20th. So, get your entries posted by then! I will be posting my 20 players last. As I did last year when I WON I'll again be donating the cash value of any chips I win to the Building Fund. Andy - Las Vegas
