my chip and coin collection was in the safe the safe was supposdly good for 1 hour at so many degrees trouble with that was the fire lasted far behond that and it got hotter than that. the door buckled. the chips warped and singed. the plastic on the coins proof sets etc were melted. a garage would be better not as much fuel. although the safe was on the back pourch.
