Sometimes you hear from casino dice collectors and sellers, that the spots of the dice have different depths because of the fact that they have to be perfectly balanced. This means, that the single one spot is 6x deeper than any of the opposite six spots.

Can't find any proof for this and it's really hard to determine unless you cut your dice through the spots...

Is this just a tale or are certain dice manufactured like that?
