Using the same scale but with updated values would not be copying. The scales in the Vegas and Reno Diceman books have diferent values as well but they both run 10 as lowest to 1 as highest rarety. I do realize that the diceman value scale is a bit out of date here and there due to the increased number of collectors and demand for the dice. If woried about copying I am sure Jeff's mom would have given permission to use the scale. I was more interested in having a standardized scale for dice collecting. I am working on my own book (nonNevada Dice, mostly riverboat and resrvation)and wanted to use a scale that went along with existing books.
