I don't know who appointed YOU the authority to determine what is TRUTH involving any discussion. Since truth like history is written by the winners as well as those who control the media and our children's text books FACT often becomes clouded. Those of us who lived during these times and experienced first hand FACT as it happened are in a much better position to sift through the "bull" and reach a conclusion far more truthful than the one you reach from reading second hand material.
Further more if you believe you would have left this country to go to Canada as you so stated is your right. However, my opinion about who you are is formed by what you write. I have never met you and you obviously have never served in the military. At this point I could care less about your opinion because it carries much less weight than someone who actually lived during this period of time.
